Wichita Brake Systems
Pneumatic and or Air Actuated and Released Brakes. Wichita Clutch air set and or spring set brakes are designed for dry running with full circle gear tooth friction disc. They are designed to stop, control and hold a member of the drive train. The size range of Wichita Clutch air set or spring set brakes is from 6” (150mm) to 60” (1500mm) in diameter in 1, 2, 3 or 4 plate units. Also available are spring set air released brakes for fail-safe applications. Whether your requirements are through-shaft or end-shaft mounting, Wichita has the Brake to suit your application.

The worlds most advanced water-cooled brake features a durable air tube design, water channels for balanced flow, and long lasting friction material. Applications include drawworks, anchor mooring, and industrial tensioning.
Kopper Kool
These units represent the ultimate in very high heat dissipation. Used in the most rugged tensioning applications including drawworks and anchor mooring.

Twiflex Brake Systems
Twiflex offer the largest range of industrial disc brake calipers in the world.Our engineering experience enables us to specify optimum braking solutions from our comprehensive industrial disc brake product range. Each is selected according to the application requirements and is specified in conjunction with a recommended brake pad material.
MU Series
The MU series of disc brakes is the smallest in the Twiflex range. It is designed for light duty stopping and hold applications. Pheumaticlly applied, spring applied, & machanically applied version are avalible.
MS Series
The MS series disc brake are used with 12.7mm thick disc's. They maybe used with the majority of twiflex actuators.
MR Series
The MR series of disc brake calipers are used with up to 25mm thick disc. They may be used with any of the Twiflex series actuators.
MX Series
The MX series disc brake calipers use up to 40mm thick disc. They may be used with any Twiflex actuator and feature patented, compiant link mechanism to ensure uniform pad wear.
GMR Series
The GMR disc brake calipers are used with 25mm & 40mm thick disc, respectivly. They maybe used with a number of the Twiflex series of actuator.
GMX Series
The GMX series of calipers are similar to the MX rangecaliper, but offer a greater pad surface area.

Brake Monitoring Systems
This unit is the only solution when operators use a manually controled brake air supply. The IDS system will give the drill real time feed back on brake horsepower consuption. It provides a visual condition of brake performance and has features which can be evaluated by a supervisor to determine faliures and faults.

Brake Water Cooling
IDS custom builds packaged brake water cooling systems designed to match brake horsepower dissipation requirments. Our rugged oilfield designs all come with redundant pumps and motors. IDS can offer two different type systems.The mos t common is the liquid to liquid plate type heat exchanger. We also offer a radiator style system with cooling fan to dissapate the heat. All IDS systems include our proprietary brake alarm system to monitor all cooling functions and warn of any unsafe conditions.
